Well, I sit in my office with the ceiling fan spinning on a beautiful spring night in late November. Is that you, global warming? I talked to my mom this evening as a snow storm rushed in on the Midwest. She said it was beautiful this morning and that she even had the doors open to let the beautiful day inside. But not tonight!
I am surrounded by my latest obsession. Yarn. I learned how to crochet last fall, and started learning how to knit about a month ago. I love to peruse the yarn section of the hobby shops. I hold one skein against another to find colors that look good together, and I like to touch the soft-looking yarns against my cheek when no one's looking. Right now I am in the middle of about 14 projects. I like to move from one to another - different yarn, different colors, different patterns and all different stitches. I made a scarf for Hubby's sister over Thanksgiving and gave it to her then. She liked the color of the yarn when she saw it so of course I had to make her something with it! It goes with her winter coat.
