Project FeederWatch Begins

I have joined Project FeederWatch - a winter birdwatching data collection project that the Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology runs. You note your feeder area ecosystem, describe your feeders, and count birds on weekend days (the most of each you see at any one time). It's so much fun!

I'm taking photos, too, and am going to post weekly best bird pics here. This weekend's photo is of a Brown Thrasher who took a long bath early this afternoon.

I'm glad you like it. I had a brown thrasher come again this weekend, but I only saw him in a tree, not in the birdbath again. :)
